At ASH Stage Productions, we are proud to present our very own MTAS – Musical Theatre Awards Scheme – an expertly designed, inspiring and highly rewarding training pathway that celebrates every child’s progress, confidence and achievement in Musical Theatre.

Unlike traditional award systems that can feel rigid, intimidating or inaccessible, the MTAs have been thoughtfully created by experienced industry professionals with years of teaching and performance expertise. They draw on the highest standards of established syllabi such as LAMDA and Trinity, while remaining inclusive, affordable, motivating and achievable for every student .

A Structured Pathway That Builds Performers For Life

Our MTAS follows a clear, progressive structure that supports each child at their own pace:

• Pre-Primary – Building confidence, creativity and enjoyment
• Primary – Developing core performance skills and discipline
• Graded Levels 1–5 – Deepening performance technique and confidence
• Young Leader Awards – Encouraging leadership, responsibility and mentoring

Students work towards their awards naturally within their weekly classes, meaning there is no pressure or sudden exam environment. Progress is monitored through ongoing, supportive assessment, ensuring children feel encouraged, celebrated and empowered every step of the way .

Students are recognised for far more than just talent – they are rewarded for positive attitude, perseverance, teamwork, creativity and commitment. Once all criteria for an award level is achieved, students are invited to purchase a beautifully presented official certificate and bronze, silver or gold medal – a proud keepsake of their success.
